Dessert…or Salad? Either way, it’s a perfect for summer!
We know how much our readers love dessert, but we wanted to stay true to our Summer Salad theme! So Chef Jodi came up with this delicious (and oh so simple) recipe! This recipe can be served up as a dessert (whip out the gelato or marzipan cheese) or a salad (toss up so leafy greens). So yummy, so summery.

Grilled Stone Fruit (Salad)
6 Stone Fruits (Peaches, Nectarine and/or Plums)
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar
½ cup of marzipan cheese or vanilla gelato (optional)
1/4 cup of almond slivers (optional)
Cut fruit in half and take out the pits. Sprinkle brown sugar over fruit.
Grill on medium heat for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side or until fruit is soft.
Place on platter, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, sprinkle almond slivers and serve with marzipan cheese or vanilla gelato.
Or slice fruit, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, sprinkle almond slivers and serve on a salad.
